Monk[+]icon tagged me with The Great Desktop Challenge some days ago. And since I’m on a brain freeze of sorts, I’ll just fulfill it now…
See? See? Nothing to see… What were you expecting, eh? Hahaha! I’m the kind who dislikes cluttered desktops. I like seeing the “bigger picture”, and for this week, it’s the lonesome gondola floating on the canal in Venice. What a sight! The water reflecting the sunlight, those birds perched on the poles, the breeze (almost) blowing… *dreamy sigh*
Since I’m way behind in handing in my homework, I don’t know who else who hasn’t been tagged to do this! Ok, I’ll just randomly pick five people — if you’ve not been tagged yet, then hey, you’re it! Looking at your desktop picture, how I wish I have a scanner so I can convert my travel photos into digital form…. the light and water reminds me of what I captured in Prague - sans gondola of course.

Kikare - Prague! now, that would’ve been some scene! I have a scanner with me too, but it’s borrowed, soon to be returned to its rightful owner. I guess I should get one of my own, but not till I settle down. scanning those pictures are essential, and addictive! I’ve started doing my old photos, those of when I was a kid, still a long long way to go…
rinnah - sometimes I just stare at the picture and dream that I was still back in Venice. ahhhh… to escape once again… *sigh*

py - thank you! it’s quite easy to do a screenshot for PC users. just minimise all windows, hit the ‘Prnt Screen’ button (usually on top right corner of keyboard), then open up Paint or another photo-editing application, paste… and there you go!
for Mac users, it’s Shift+Cmd+3, and it’ll do a screenshot for you on the spot, in .png format.
